Mar. 3 - We had the side trip from hell today. A 5:30 start and over to Sicily on the catamaran. The ride over was pretty rough
(2 1/2 hrs.), but we had taken our gravol and were ok. On the trip back everyone on the boat was green. It was really bad.
After the boat trip we got on a bus, drive through the countryside to our 'all froth' cappuccino stop. Hereafter referred to as Sicilian coffee.
Then on through the farming areas and drive up Mt. Etna (an active volcano). Snow, lava and fog everywhere. After our box lunch we go back down the mountain to the town where we have 2 hours to see the village and the gardens.
