Page 5: is primarily about the plants in the boulevard garden. This garden room is bounded by the cedar hedge
that runs across the property, and out to the street, and is, of course, owned by Saanich. There is a rectangle bed
on each side, with the nook for the bench in the middle. These rectangles are all approximately the same size.
There is another 5 - 6 foot strip in front the the rectangles, planted with butterfly and pollinator plants,
right across the property. In front of this strip the grass is planted with crocuses for another 3 or 4 feet,
and then the outter strip of grass gets used by cars to park. There is a purple plum tree at the nefarious
neighbours side of the propery. The other end of this boulevard garden borders our driveway and the plants
do much better. Controlling the bamboo that runs into this area has become a chore
and I am thinking of taking the bamboo out.
