The field stone path that goes up the cement pavers to the viewing platform and around the pond. Where it turns to
go up the cement pavers we see the drystream that marks this edge of the Japanese/moss garden room. There is the
little red, cutleaf Japanese maple and the mountain laurel along the drystream. On the other side of the drystream
is where the astilbes grow. As we go up the cement pavers we pass between the globe cedar and the Lebanon cedar.
I am trying to keep these two plants pruned to the Japanese style. Where the dry stream takes a turn to follow
the edge of the deck, we see the Japanese lantern with the Japanese aralia behind it.
