Pieris japonica, the Japanese andromeda or Japanese pieris, grew next to the old compost bin in the woodland garden room. In 2022 I had it taken down by Davey Tree. It had become straggley and quite ugly. There is a huge sword fern that I will clean up and have that as a screen to the compost bin, perhaps. I might use the beige plastic bin to catch water from the downspout by the deck to water the plants along the nefarious neighbours side of the house.
