The eagle photo of May 2011, sitting on the hydro tower across the street from our home. We used to have a pair of eagles nesting in the area. We could watch 2 - 3 of the baby eagles taking flight training, or the pair of adult eagles hunting for prey. I don't know exactly when one of the eagles disappeared, but there has only been one of them for a few years now. (typed in February 2024). These birds mate for life, but if one dies the other may take a new mate. These eagles can live for over 20 years. .
