| Here is a view of some of the surrounding plantings and edgings. The minature cattail is a delight and is very good in dried flower arrangements. The mermaid cement statue is a nice addition to the half barrel. The marsh marigold is a shallow water plant that puts on a show beside the waterfall in early spring. I have had floating plants, such as the water hyacinth and others, but I find that I prefer to see the water surface rather than the surface carpeting plants. |
