| Page 24 – Bamberg, Germany Day 8 – October 29, 2005 St. Peters Cathedral 13th century. The spires were only added in the 19th century. The finest Gothic building in Bavaria. The inside of the Cathedral houses its greatest treasures: beautiful stained glass windows, cloisters, statues and a high silver and copper alter. The Cathedral has a famous Boy’s Choir, the Domspatzen (Cathedral Sparrows) Pat and I are both not feeling that terrific. There seems to be a bug of some kind going around the ship, infecting everyone. |
