Disembark and enjoy a guided tour of this medieval gem, with its uniquely intact townscape and which boasts over 1000 years of history. See the Cathedral, the Old Town Hall, and the cities serpentine streets with charming houses and 18th Century mansions. Bamberg is listed as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Then drive through the picturesque countryside to Forchheim where you re-board the ship. Continue along the Main-Danube Canal, arriving later this evening in Nuremberg. |
